Ingredients

Honey Garlic Wings

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp white distilled vinegar
  • 5-6 cloves garlic minced

BBQ Dry Rub

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt diamond crystal
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper more if you like it extra spicy
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Honey Garlic Wings

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil
  • Pat the chicken wings totally dry with a paper towel and place in a large bowl. Toss the dried wings with the 1 tbsp olive oil, baking powder, salt, and cumin and spread evenly onto baking sheet.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through until skin is crisp and golden.
  • While wings are baking make your honey garlic sauce, combine honey, chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic into a small sauce pan.
  • Simmer on medium heat until it reduce by half and is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Once chicken wings are done, place back into a large clean bowl and top with sauce. Toss until wings are fully coated.

BBQ dry rub wings

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil
  • Pat wings completed dry with a paper towel and place in a large bowl
  • Make spice rub by combining salt and spiced together. Sprinkle rub and 1 tbsp olive oil onto chicken wings and toss to coat. Add baking powder and toss again.
  • Spread evening onto baking sheet. Bake for 35-40 minutes until skin is golden brown and crispy.
