Cookbook Club

Welcome to The Cookbook Club, or as we’ll affectionately call it here, The Club. This is where all the best things I’ve discovered throughout the week—recipes, cookbooks, articles, products, and random bits of inspiration—come together in one place. Think of it as a weekly catch-up, but instead of gossip, we’re dishing on everything that’s caught my eye and made me think, “I need to share this.”

This isn’t just about cooking (though there will be plenty of that). It’s about the books I’m diving into, the podcasts I’m obsessing over, and even that perfect outfit I just can’t stop wearing. The Club is a little bit of everything that fuels the creativity behind the dishes and ideas I share here.

I’ve realized that so much of what I love about food comes from the little moments and discoveries outside the kitchen, and this is my way of bringing all of that to you. Expect a mix of high and low, fancy and not-so-fancy, because that’s how life—and cooking—should be. Sometimes it’s a deep dive into a cookbook I can’t put down, and other times, it’s a quick nod to a new snack that’s been keeping me going during recipe testing marathons.

1. Things I’m listening to

My MIL actually recommended this podcast to me, I have been a big fan of Calley and Casey Means for a while and so much of this podcast resonated with me. It’s a long one but a great listen about thinking independently and questioning some previous norms about being “healthy”

Also a fun listen this week on This Is TASTE, Alison Roman. I love this one and her views on purposeful content.

Logan’s cucumber salad is everywhere. I have to admit – it’s pretty good. We all could be eating more cucumbers.

4. Inspiring me on Pinterest

Garden everything! We moved this summer and didn’t get to have a garden but I’ve been day dreaming about our future garden one day.

5. Things I’m reading

Jason Stewart Substack, this was a recommendation from the above This Is TASTE podcast. I have binge read the past few months of his articles. I really like his thoughts about food, culture and food trends.

Finally starting the third American Royals book, it’s been out for a few years but I’m finally getting around to it. I love the first 2 books.
